She completed her undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, before completing her law studies at University of Florida, College of Law, in Gainesville, Florida. She worked as an Assistant State Attorney in the 13th Judicial District from 1995 to 2003, after which she entered into private practice. Ms. Friedlander is a member of the Florida Bar and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
